Cafe
The Ours Cafe
Family-friendly cafe with kids activity room and excellent coffee
Great cafe to chill with friends or sit and get some work done. There is tons of seating and it's never very busy. Update: The Ours got popular and can get busy on the weekends but during the week you will always get a seat.
The coffee and food are good but not amazing. I would recommend a latte rather an espresso as the barista (who is also the owner) does not pull artisanal shots. Update: they fleshed out their menu and it's fantastic with a mix of Thai/Japanese and western dishes. They also seriously upped their espresso game because they pull amazing shots even in the lighter roasts.
There is absolutely nothing in this area to do so I can't recommend this cafe for a day trip. If you're in the area and need somewhere to stop then this cafe is great. For people who live in the area (like me) it's a great addition and it's nice to see the remoter areas of Chiang Mai getting nice cafes.
This cafe is very family friendly with a whole room dedicated to a kids play area. A great option if you need to get some work done as you can sit in the adult area and watch your kids play in the other area.
Little tip: There is a ton of parking around the side of the building but it's not obvious when you first pull in from the freeway.
Update February 2026: The Ours takes their food and beverage more seriously now and their overall menu is great. It's a little on the pricier side, but the quality backs it up. They are leaning more into the kid-friendly thing with a new playground in the back and some kids' summer camp stuff. But don't think it's a kids' cafe exclusively. I still see tons of people here coming in for meetings, for socializing, and for working.
